Finding the exact information you need, whether itโ€™s a specific request, asset, or incident, is crucial for efficient operations. Our enhanced full-page search provides a unified and powerful way to search across all your workspaces from a single interface, delivering faster and more relevant results.

Start a search

You can initiate a search from anywhere in the application. The full-page view consolidates all relevant results, making it easy to narrow down your focus.

  1. Click the Search anything field in the header or use the keyboard shortcut โŒ˜+K (on Mac) or Ctrl+K (on Windows).

  2. Type your search query, such as "laptop" or a user's name and press enter.

  3. From the results dropdown, select View all results to navigate to the dedicated search page.

Refine your search results

The full-page search provides a comprehensive view of all items related to your query, organized into categories. From here, you can apply filters and sort the results to quickly find exactly what you need.

You can refine the list of results using the following options:

  • Filter by category: The results are organized into tabs such as All Results, Requests, Service Requests, Incidents, and more. Click on a tab to view only items of that specific type.

  • Filter by attributes: Use the filter pills at the top of the page to narrow your search based on specific attributes. For example, to see results only from the IT Support workspace, click the Workspace is All workspaces filter and select IT Support from the dropdown.

  • Sort your results: Click the Sort button to organize results by criteria like Newest or Oldest. This helps you prioritize recent or long-standing items based on your needs.

Explore new search capabilities

This update introduces several enhancements to make your search experience more powerful and intuitive:

  • Broader search scope: You can now find Changes and Assets in addition to requests and incidents, all from the same search bar.

  • Smarter results: An improved ranking engine delivers more relevant results based on your search terms and applied filters.

  • Faster performance: Experience significant speed improvements, even when searching through large amounts of data.
