Connect the JumpCloud MCP server

Integrate the JumpCloud MCP server with Atomicwork to give your AI agents access to a wide range of JumpCloud actions and tools.

Review prerequisites

To connect the JumpCloud MCP server, you need the following permissions:

  • Atomicwork admin access: You need organization admin access in Atomicwork.

  • JumpCloud admin access: You need admin access in JumpCloud to enable the MCP server and generate an API key.

Configure JumpCloud settings

Before connecting the integration in Atomicwork, enable the MCP server in your JumpCloud account:

  1. Log in to your JumpCloud Admin Portal.

  2. In the left navigation menu, click Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Features tab.

  4. Under the JumpCloud AI section, find the MCP Server toggle and switch it to On.

Connect the JumpCloud MCP server

Follow these steps to set up the integration in your workspace:

  1. Navigate to Settings > MCP Store > JumpCloud.

  2. Click on the JumpCloud tile and select Connect.

  3. Enter your JumpCloud API key. Here's how you can find your JumpCloud API key.

  4. Complete the setup process. Once finished, a list of all available JumpCloud tools is displayed on your screen.

Configure agent access

After the setup is complete, you can control which tools your AI agents can use. Besides the AI Workforce, these tools will also be available to the coding agent and the Admin Assist for use.

  1. Navigate to AI workforce > AI Coworker > Tools.

  2. Grant granular or complete access to the available JumpCloud tools based on your workspace requirements.
