The Assistant can answer questions in Slack/Teams with the knowledge it has learned from public channels in Slack and Teams. When the Learn setting is toggled on, the Assistant learns from the last one year's conversations. After setup, Atomicwork scans the last week of conversations everyday to update the Assistant's knowledge graph.
The Assistant will always attribute the source and will link back to the conversation it has learned from.
You can configure the Assistant to only learn from specific public channels instead of all the channels it has been added to.
The Assistant cannot learn from private channels or DMs.
Learn from Slack/Teams conversations
Go to Settings > Workspace > Channels. Click on Slack/Teams.
Toggle on Allow the Assistant to learn when you add it to a public channel to enable learning.
Choose whether you want it to learn from all public channels it has been/will be added or just specific channels.
If the Assistant is not a part of the channel already, it will join the channel.
