Enable employee self-service through Atom skills. Your employees can request (and get) application access, without waiting for an administrator to intervene. The Assistant grants access by adding the employee to the right Okta group so if you want to automate provisioning for certain applications, you need to make sure they are associated to an Okta group.
The playbook
An end-user asks the Assistant for access to an approved app
The Assistant asks them to state the reason for the inclusion. If there's an approval policy associated with the app, an approval notification is sent to the approvers.
Once it's been approved, the Assistant adds the end-user to the Okta group and notifies the employee.
Instructions
Go to Settings > Workspace > Skills
Click the Provision applications through Okta groups skill > Enable. If you have not connected Okta with Atomicwork, you will now be prompted to do so.
Choose the applications for which you'd like to provision access through the Assistant. This list of applications is drawn from the apps you've connected with your Okta account.
If there are multiple roles that an employee can choose from, you can name the role and specify which group to add the employee to for this access.
If the app provisioning requires an approval, choose an existing approval policy or create a new one.
Click on Enable.
To change approval policies, provision more apps through this skill or remove apps, you can do so from the Skill home screen by clicking on Manage.
