Integrate Atomicwork with Confluence to give your AI assistant access to the extensive knowledge base you’ve built. This allows employees to get instant answers from your Confluence documents directly within their workflow on the Browser, Email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, eliminating the need to switch contexts or search through different platforms.
Here are the key capabilities you can unlock with the Atomicwork-Confluence integration:
Connect knowledge for the Assistant to learn: Admins can select specific Confluence spaces for Atom to learn from. All documents within those spaces will be indexed for easy search and access.
Inherit Confluence permissions: Atom respects the permissions set in Confluence. Employees can only get answers from documents and spaces they are permitted to access.
Sync content regularly: Atomicwork automatically syncs with Confluence to ensure Atom's knowledge is always up-to-date with the latest changes in your documents.
Connect your Confluence account
To connect your Confluence account, you need:
Admin access in Atomicwork.
Admin permission to authorize applications in your Atlassian account.
Follow these steps to set up the integration:
In the Atomicwork admin portal, navigate to Settings > App Store.
Locate Confluence from the list of available apps and click Connect.
You will be redirected to the Atlassian login page. Sign in to your account using your credentials or an SSO provider like Microsoft or Google.
After signing in, Atlassian will ask you to review the permissions Atom requires to access your Confluence instance. Atom requests view, search, and read-only permissions to index your knowledge base effectively.
Click Accept to grant the necessary permissions to Atom.
Once you accept, you will be redirected back to Atomicwork, confirming that the Confluence application has been successfully connected.
After the connection is established, you can proceed to select the specific Confluence spaces you want Atom to learn from.
