Permissions
To connect your Atomicwork and PowerBI accounts, you need:
Atomicwork admin access: You need org admin access in Atomicwork.
PowerBI license: You need a valid Power BI Pro or Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) license. Free (Fabric) licenses are not supported.
The user connecting Power BI with Atomicwork must be granted the following delegated permissions:

User.Read | To sign in and read the user’s profile. |
App.Read.All | To view all Power BI apps. |
Dashboard.ReadWrite.All | To read and write all Power BI dashboards. |
Dataflow.ReadWrite.All | To read and write all Power BI dataflows. |
Dataset.ReadWrite.All | To read and write all Power BI datasets. |
Report.ReadWrite.All | To read and write all Power BI reports. |
Warehouse.ReadWrite.All | To read and write all Power BI warehouses. |
Workspace.ReadWrite.All | To read and write all Power BI workspaces. |
Setup
As an Atomicwork admin, navigate to Settings > App Store > PowerBI, and click on Connect.
Click Connect and sync in the integration page and sign in with your Microsoft account. If you are already logged in, your active session will be picked up.
Atomicwork will automatically sync the following datasets:
Requests
Users
Assets
Changes
A semantic model named Analytics Data is created by Atomicwork in your default Power BI workspace.
Your reporting team can start creating reports in PowerBI with this data. Data syncs automatically with a maximum delay of 30 minutes, depending on event size.
